I bring to my design career the skills of adaptability, collaboration, problem-solving and creative-thinking.

My whole working life, I’ve used a design process: Research > Ideate > Create > Deliver

I’ve also worn many hats. I know what it’s like to be the most junior member of a team and also what it’s like to be running the show.

I have worked with all types of people, and a myriad of creative teams. I love collaboration and the creative process, always moving forward so that we can deliver the best solutions and a beautiful product.

My Story

I started my career in the photo industry, where I worked as a photo assistant, digital technician and lighting director for many world-renowned commercial and editorial photographers.

I was really lucky to get to travel the world, with a camera around my neck, and my pockets stuffed with 120mm film.

After a few years, I moved up from assisting and began photographing my own editorial and commercial assignments for companies such as Estée Lauder, Target, Kate Spade and Rebecca Minkoff.

Although my photography career was oftentimes fulfilling, I found my curiosity wandering more and more into the tech realm.

I became driven to learn “all things tech”. I wanted to know how it all worked. I took a frontend development course, and I was hooked.

It was thrilling to learn HTML/CSS and JavaScript. I was finally beginning to understand how a website and app all came together.

But after obtaining my frontend certification, I still wasn’t done. I missed interacting with people. I missed creating things visually.

Then I found UX / UI design.

The infinite possibilities to design useful + accessible products AND help with the user experience?

I’M IN.
